1. Who is the scribe for today?
Devonte Martin was the scribe for today.

2. How many names are crossed off in the scribe list?
There are 3 names crossed out

3. How can you access the Class Notebook? (Assignment due Friday)
You can access it from our class blog page

4. How can you access moodle or check your SLA email?
From your class blog page.

5. What Google/School docs for?
The google docs

6. What is the absent sheet for?
The absent sheet is for people who weren’t here that fill the sheet out by looking at the daily scribe.

7. What is the internet tools link for?
Internet tool link is for all the tools you need for the blog, wiki, creating slideshows etc.

8. What is the writing math formulas link for?
It helps your write formulas more organized with all the symbols.

9. How many post were made in 2008?
There were 24 posts made.

10. How many post were made last week?
There were 6 posts made.

11. How many times has Mr. Rochester posted to the blog?
He has posted 22 times.

12. How many times has someone other the Mr. Rochester posted to the blog?
A lot of people. It's for the whole class.

13. Other then Mr. Rochester people have posted 35 times.

So people understand what you are talking about and what date it was written.

14. When do we use the label OX? (fun and two days before a test or quiz)
You use the label when you are posting whether or not your ready for a quiz or if you are showing something on the blog for the class.


15. What unit are we in?
We are in unit 3.

16. How many notes have been posted during this unit?
3 notes have been posted

17. Where can you find the Youtube Math videos?
From the class blog at the bottom of the page.
18. What do you think of the fourth video?
I think the video was interesting but they moved to fast even though it was still understandable.

19. Do you know how to post to the blog and how to include labels?
Yes I do because we had to do it for a benchmark.

20. What are the appropriate labels?
You always have to put basic things like your name, also make sure to put the label (class scribe), and also put the date.

21. Do you think this blog is a waste of time?
No it helps me figure out what the class notes were and has all the math info on it.

ToDyS ClasSSSSSwoRk... 1-29-08 Algebra 1 b

THIS IS WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agenda for Tuesday’s Algebra 1B Class (1-29-08)

1. Go over changes to Absent Sheet
-( the changes were: when your late to class, or after the teacher takes role and your not there, you need to fill in an absent sheet and hand it in or send it to Mr. Rochesters E-mail for that days cresit...BIG PART OF OUR GRADES!!)
2. Make sure profile is updated
-(you need to go to your moodle account, go to "edit page", once your there hit "show advanced" then go down to "Email digest type" then change it to,subjects daily updates" then scroll down and click update.)
3. Open up SLA mail and show that inbox is Not overloaded with emails
-(once your in you SLA mail delete all the emails. so that you can easily find the e-mail Mr.Rochester is going to send.)
4. Go over Solutions to yesterday’s classwork
( you can check yesterdays blogger to see any missing or reviewed work.)
5. Homework: Explore Sketchpad

THIS IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED, MR.ROCHESTER SPENT ABOUT MORE THEN HALF OF THE CLASS PERIOD TRYING TO FIGURE OUT ANOTHER WAY TO SEND US A MESSAGE AND EVERYONE WAS CONFUSED AND DNOT MAKEING AN EFFORT. THEN WE WHENT OVER ABOUT 3 PROBLEMS FROM THE TRIVIA BLOGGER-THAT WASN'T EVEN OUR BAND, THEN MR.ROCHSTER FINALLY ORGANIZED HIMSLF O CHECK THE HOMEWORK FROM FRIDAY. AND GAVE US THE HOMEWORK....

Today we (Algebra B Band) formed in groups of 4 and 5 . There were nine leaders chosen . Each leader had to pick three other team members to work with . Who were not leaders . Next we talked about Educon . Educon is a company that came to SLA from January 25-27 . There were over two hundred teachers from around the world that came to SLA along with Educon to observe SLA students , This is because SLA is a new school called School 2.0 which means were are an upgrade from other schools . Soon , after the questions were given to us we were told about an absent sheet . The absent sheet is for kids that are absent to do an assignment so they can recieve credit for the day they were not present . The assignment must be turned in the day a student returns . Also there was home work due Monday Jan.2.2008 which was about congruent shapes which mean that the shapes are the same , but the size is not .
